Job description: Experienced Interior Designer

About the role:

I am looking for an experienced interior designer to join our small team. So if you have come back to work after the holidays and decided it’s time for a change, then this may be the advert you’ve been looking for!

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in residential interior design. You should be comfortable running your own projects quite independently: everything from client communication to sourcing, ordering and installation. It’s important that you’ve had experience in a similar role for a UK-based residential interior design firm—I would love to find someone who can hit the ground running in this position.

You will be working directly with me in this role. I’m a geek, so the ideal candidate will be someone who wants to learn and develop their technical know-how, who is comfortable explaining their decisions, and who doesn’t feel bad about not knowing the answer or being wrong. I highly value creative collaboration, and want my team members to contribute ideas and to be excited about shaping the creative direction of our projects. If you’re thinking of applying, you should also be someone who loves the creative part of what we do.

On the technology side, familiarity with Estimac is helpful, as are CAD drawing skills (we are using Vectorworks, but if you’re an Autocad person you should still apply).
